Panda NYC

Did you know there's a venue in New York called Panda NYC? I didn't, but now I do. To completely quote their Welcome page:

"Panda is a European-style cafe/bar located on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Organic coffee & teas, as well as, free wifi set the tone for the daytime and the lounge vibe kicks in with a fantastic happy hour on into the night. In addition, Panda features the work of new & emerging artists through a series of ever-changing exhibitions, installations and performances. Cozy, friendly, and vibrantly eclectic with a wonderful mix of locals and passers-by--Panda is proving to be a favorite destination for the coffee/laptoppers and the nightlifers. In short, Panda = great product, great service, and a great vibe in a great location."

Clearly I have a spot to check out next time I make it to New York City.

Panda in the Glass

Found by intrepid Panda Explorer Peter Kim and his two Explorers-in-Training, Nicky and Ruby. Peter says, "Stopped at a random Chinese restaurant near Ontario Airport w the girls and my parents. They literally squealed when they saw this stained glass window. And thus, yr addiction has been passed along ... :)"

Thanks Pete!

Newest Panda Correspondents Sight Panda on the Island

In breaking news, our two youngest panda correspondents, Nicky and Ruby, have sighted a panda on the fair island of Alameda, CA. With the help of their intrepid panda explorer dad, they managed to snap a quick photo of the elusive creature.

to shop for pandas & nothing more

milad asks: "have you seen this store?! its on college... almost everything in there is panda related. best store ever? id say so."

i'm not sure of what particular store he speaks of, and college avenue is a long avenue, but i'm sure some intrepid panda followers will be able to hunt it down.

Pandamonium in Piazza del Popolo

This is especially hilarious for me, since I'm learning in my art history classes about all the great master works of art that inhabit the piazza - apparently it merits a panda invasion as well!
