The Hippie Pandas

The Hippie Pandas competed in the FIRST 2012 Championship, developing an idea to easily pasteurize milk. Their idea was a success and is already in use in Nicaragua. Too cool! Hopefully it spreads to other countries as well. As if their name wasn't cool enough, be sure to check out those sweet tie-dyed shirts!

2011 = Year of the Panda Census

Every 10 years, much like the human census, a panda census is conducted. Unlike the human census, however, the panda census is conducted by sending people out to collect panda poo-poo for DNA analysis.

Firefox = Red Panda

Everyone knows about Firefox. In fact, I'm using it right now. But, what I didn't know (until recently, thanks to Trevor) was that a firefox, in non-internet jargon, is a red panda. Makes sense though. Observe:

Currently, Firefox is helping their namesake by donating funds to a family of firefoxes at the Knoxville zoo and making it all the more adorable by streaming it live. You can donate funds to help the cubs, but, even if you are inexplicably poor, you can still help by simply downloading Firefox. Genius! Now's the time to get all those old fogies/Internet Explorer hold outs to make the switch.
