my friend sierra is in a o pi at cal poly. apparently, their pose for pictures is a panda bear! so i captured sierra in multiple panda locations while she was visiting me this weekend. little did i know how much bamboo there is around berkeley!

david, our haiku correspondant, has created his first (of many, i'm sure) masterpiece:

Fear, hunger, killing
The violent jungle roaring

david has offered to be a panda correspondant, even promising a panda haiku. just wait, things are getting crazy here in panda land!

llama, not panda

panda xiu xiu xxxxxx panda panda

adding to his all-around amazing-ness, jamie stewart seems to have a fondness for pandas. recently, it seems to be for the sanrio character pandapple, as observed repeatedly on the xiu xiu blog as well as in person. but the panda appears previously in the xiu xiu repertoire--see this song titled "little panda mcelroy," a nice little number, not much to do about pandas in particular, but fun none-the-less. pandas are awesome and xiu xiu is awesome therefore xiu xiu songs with pandas are awesome.
